SLINGERLANDS, NY, December 1st, 2018 –  Dr. Griffan Randall, owner, and sole practitioner of Dr. Griffan Randall, D.O., PLLC in Slingerlands, NY is celebrating her private psychiatric practice’s successful first-year anniversary.

Her patient population consists of adolescents through geriatrics diagnosed with conditions such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, maternal/fetal psychiatric conditions, ADHD, and schizophrenia to name a few. Her practice utilizes not only medication management, but various individual therapeutic treatments for her patients, including such unique treatments as genetic testing and medical-marijuana.

During the year, in addition to her daily patient practice, Dr. Randall was also interviewed as the psychiatric expert for an Investigation Discovery television series executively produced by Khloe Kardashian, performed Federal Aviation Administration evaluations, testified at a public hearing in favor of a law banning conversion therapy for minors in Albany County, and has been the consulting Psychiatrist for Health Quest OB/GYN residency program in Poughkeepsie, NY.

In the upcoming year Dr. Randall plans to add a fulltime administrator to facilitate scheduling and communication with patients and is considering the possibility of an academic position in a newly founded OB/GYN residency program. She plans to continue her public advocacy for mental health issues. “However”, she adds, “perhaps selfishly, what I might be most excited about, is adding a therapy dog to the office ” to expand treatment options.
